The MyArtsLab Faculty Advisor Program is a peer-to-peer mentoring program that partners experienced MyArtsLab users with new and potential users to further enhance their knowledge, skill and understanding of how to successfully integrate MyArtsLab in the classroom. Our Faculty Advisors (FAs) are committed to advancing the support for online learning and sharing their best practices with the MyArtsLab community.

Florida State College at Jacksonville
MyArtsLab - Cindy Damschroder is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Cincinnati where she has taught since 1999. Her primary teaching responsibilities include teaching the History of Western Art survey classes in both a traditional and honors level setting. The University offers these courses in a ARTH111, ARTH112, ARTH113 format for quarters until the 2012-2013 year when the University is making the transition to semesters. She has developed a new "survey of DAAP" course entitled Design, Art and the Built Environment. Professor Damschroder has also taught a number of special topic courses for the honors department - one on William Morris and the Pre-Raphaelites and another on Self-Potraiture in written and visual form. She also serves as the undergraduate advisor to the art history students in her department and in 2009-2010 she was recognized by the University Senate as the University's Outstanding Adjunct.

- John Fields

Florida State College at Jacksonville
MyFrenchLab, MyArtsLab - John Fields teaches at Florida State College at Jacksonville where he is a full-time professor of French as well as head of the French program. He also teaches humanities courses on France (Lieux de mémoire en France) and Paris (Paris: City of Light, City of Darkness) as well as business law courses as needed. In addition to his teaching role, he is also president of the Florida chapter for the American Association of Teachers of French, administrator of the National French Exam for high school students in Florida, and a judge at Congrès (state-wide French competition). Finally, he is active with the Jacksonville City Sisters Committee working with Nantes, France and Curitiba, Brazil.
- John graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. and M.A. in French language and literature. In between earning his B.A. and M.A., he spent a year working in Nantes, France. He also graduated from Rutgers School of Law with a J.D. Since returning to teaching in 2002, he has taught at both the high school and college levels.

- Alyson A. Gill, Ph.D.

MyArtsLab - Alyson Gill teaches at Arkansas State University-Jonesboro where she is a full-time associate professor of art history as well as director of the Center for Digital Initiatives. Gill holds an M.A. in Art History from the University of California, Irvine, and a Ph.D. in History from the University of Memphis. While she teaches art history from the Paleolithic through the Gothic period, as well as graduate level Methodology courses, Gill's field of expertise is Greek architecture. Since 2008 Gill has been creating and implementing digital tools for teaching and research at ASU, is a member of the scientific committee of Computer Applications in Archaeology, and is the Associate Editor for Digital Applications in Archaeology and Cultural Heritage, an online peer-reviewed journal for the digital humanities.

MyArtsLab - Maya Jiménez, PhD, is Assistant Professor of Art History at Kingsborough Community College, CUNY. She holds a B.A. in Art History from George Washington University and an M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Art History from the Graduate School and University Center, CUNY. She is a specialist in 19th Century Latin American, American, and European art, and their crosscurrents.
